Since 2011 ATH Training has been providing a full range of essential workplace First Aid Training to businesses in the Southend area and throughout South-East England. 

We provide open First Aid courses in and around Southend.  We also have training venues in Basildon, Chelmsford and Colchester or can provide all your training needs directly to your workers at your own workplace.

Our portfolio of services includes Appointed Person, First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work Requalification, Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work Annual Refresher, AED (defibrillator) full course or refresher, Emergency Paediatric First Aid, 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid (meeting OFSTED and EYFS requirements).

ATH Training offers a comprehensive selection of First Aid courses, but we also offer Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Safeguarding of Children (Child Protection), Manual Handling of Objects and Fire Safety courses.

ATH Training is regulated by the trade body Pro Trainings who complete all of our internal quality assurance. We are also able to offer regulated qualifications (QCF) for all of our courses with certificates being awarded by TQUK. All of our courses also come with CPD points suitable for professional drivers, healthcare workers or work in the fitness industry and CPD certificates can be downloaded once you have completed your course.

First Aid at Work 

A 3-day course covering a wide range of First Aid emergencies including illnesses the First Aider in the workplace could be required to deal with. This course will give First Aiders a high level of qualification as well as plenty of practical scenarios to hone their skills......more details.

First Aid at Work Requalification

A 2-day course for those who have previously attended the full First Aid at Work course and need to re-certify. This course allows delegates the chance to take part in plenty of practical scenarios to maintain their skills and knowledge........more details.

Emergency First Aid at Work

A 1-day basic First Aid course covering the serious emergency situations employees could be faced with, such as Cardiac Arrest, Heart Attack plus much more........more details.

12-hour Paediatric First Aid (meeting OFSTED requirements)

A 12-hour course split across a minimum of 2 days, this course can be completed as 100% classroom or our popular Blended version with 1 day completed online and 1 day in the class room. Both class room and Blended version fully meet OFSTED requirements with the Blended option designed to cut down on the time child care workers are required to be away from the work setting......more details.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

A 1-day course that is for child care personnel who are not registered with OFSTED or for staff who need to be trained to a more basic level to provide support to those staff who hold the 12-hour Padiatric First Aid qualification.......more details.

Automated External Defibrillator (defib)

A short half-day course, which can act as a refresher, or for the complete novice to supplement other First Aid training. Whilst training is not required for the use of an AED, it is recommended by the HSE. All of our First Aid courses cover AED and our practical training includes allowing all students to use an AED.......more details.
